What is Business Process Diagram?

Business Process Modeling Notation (BPMN) (also called business process diagram, or BPD in short) is a visual modeling language for representing business process model graphically. BPMN maintained by the Object Management Group is a widely accepted standard of business process modeling. It is used by both technical and business users. BPMN is also a technical standard that provides a mapping between the graphics of the notation to the underlying constructs of execution languages. BPMN is designed to be readily understandable by all business stakeholders. These include the business analysts who create and refine the processes, the technical developers responsible for implementing them, and the business managers who monitor and manage them.
