What is Column Chart?

Every bar on a column chart represents the value or frequency of its belonging category, having its height proportional to the value. Therefore, column charts are commonly used for comparing values among different categories by comparing the bars' heights. As the height of a bar is proportional to the value, the ratio between different values is equal to the ratio between the bars' dimensions.
