The Story of the Taxi
One night in early spring 1907, Aaron, a rich son, went to New York Broadway with his girlfriend to see an opera. At the break, he went to the carriage and asked the driver how much he wanted. Although only half a mile away from the theater, the driver was asking for the price, more than 10 times the usual car money. Aaron felt so outrageous that he got into an argument with the driver, who knocked him to the ground.
Aaron was well. In revenge for the driver, he intended to use cars instead of carriages to provide the same service. Later, he asked his friends who were working on the clock to design a meter and name the taxi, which is now common all over the world.
