Johnson was born in the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City
1977 - Education
Johnson gained a King's Scholarship to study at Eton College, the elite independent boarding school near Windsor in Berkshire.

Johnson and Mostyn-Owen were married in West Felton, Shropshire.
