The Ingredients Of Whisky Infographic
Simply put, whiskey is a spirit distilled from grains. After distilling, it is placed in various oak barrels, allowing the liquor to absorb the color and flavor imparted by the barrels, and finally become the amber-colored wine in our glass. The raw materials used in the whiskey (barley, rye, corn, etc.), the type of oak barrels, and the aging time will all have a key influence on the taste of the liquor.
