Why is use case modeling helpful for system development?
- Before you start a project, you can create use case diagrams to model a business so that all participants in the project have a common understanding of workers, customers, and business activities.
- When gathering requirements, you can create use case diagrams to capture system requirements and present to others what the system should do.
- During the analysis and design phase, you can use the use cases and roles in the use case diagram to identify the classes needed for the system.
- During the testing phase, you can easily identify test cases based on the use cases.
