Four Quadrants of SWOT Analysis

SWOT analysis is usually structured, so it is possible to generate a 2x2 grid (or 4-quadrant matrix) based on two pairs of dimensions:


  • Strengths and weaknesses are seen as obvious internal factors, while

  • Opportunities and threats are clearly seen as external factors.
