Chinese dance refers to the traditional Chinese dance. As early as five thousand years ago, primitive dances appeared in China. Now it is mainly divided into two categories: classical dance and folk dance. Classical dance can be divided into Ya dance and miscellaneous dance, Ya dance for the national festival, is the ritual dance. Miscellaneous dance is used for entertainment.
Chinese dance has a long history. Some of today's Chinese dances, such as the long-sleeve dance, were recorded at least as early as the early Zhou Dynasty (3138 years to date). Chinese dance reached its peak in the Tang Dynasty (2000 years to date), but later declined. Modern dance rose again, and now the development of Chinese dance is also in full swing.
