5S Example: 5S

What is 5S?

5S was originally a Japanese organization method composed of five Japanese words: seiri, seiton, seiso, seiketsu, and shitsuke. The English equivalent words are: sort, set in order, shine, standardize and sustain. This methodology supports Just-In-Time Manufacturing.

How to draw a 5S?

You can easily create 5S using a quality 5S software like VP Online Diagrams:

  1. Create a 5S.
  2. Replace the text in the template to fit your need. You can add additional shapes into the diagram as well.
  3. Once your diagram is complete, you can save it (File > Save as) to our cloud repository for future access. You can also export your work into image (JPG, PNG, PDF, SVG, etc) and share it with your co-workers.
