Six Steps for Preparing Your Marketing Report?
Identify key players - A marketing plan involves many people and sometimes requires an entire company to execute the strategy. Therefore, you should identify key players at the beginning of planning.
List goals and success metrics - You should not make a marketing plan arbitrarily, have a goal and list it here. How well does the marketing plan fit with the company's strategic goals? Does the former support the latter?
Describe your target market - You should gather detailed information about your targeted customer so that you can develop your strategy and design your promotional materials accordingly.
Perform Competitive Analysis - Do a good job of marketing that sets you apart from the competition. To do this, you need a thorough understanding of your competitors. List your competitors here and some important information about them, such as their slogans, feature comparisons, and promotion strategies. This information is always on hand if you want to gain an edge.
Explain the implementation plan - Do you have a specific marketing plan in the pipeline? Such as a series of webinars, or a targeted Facebook advertising campaign.
Set a Budget and Forecast Risk - If you had unlimited funds, you would be free to launch any marketing strategy you want, but sadly, this is not the case. Budgeting is one of the real issues you need to deal with. You should assign a budget for each activity and briefly explain how you will use the funds. This will help you plan effectively on a limited budget.
