Everyone is unique.
There are many factors that influence the formation of our character, such as the environment we grow up in, our relationships, or the various things we encounter. Each of these points causes us to treat people differently. No one has the exact same life, so we are all unique.
Cherish our "unique"
Because we are all different, even if we are limited by a number of different factors, we don't have to feel anxious about being affected, but should be proud of what makes us unique.
As with Margaret Mead, even though she was severely constrained by her gender in doing her analysis and reporting, she did not back down or give up, but had the courage to continue her research. Her research has influenced entire generations of feminist activists.
About the quote
We usually have goals such as "I want to be someone" and" I want to be someone with the same skills". However, even if we set someone as my goal, we can't be the same person as that person.
It's good if we have goals, but we need to think through what it is we really want to do. Even if we set a goal, there are many ways to achieve that goal; choose the method that works best for us and plan carefully. Remember, we are all unique and we don't need to follow closely the steps of others, we are free to follow the path we prefer..
Feeling nervous that you are not as good as others expected? There is no need to compare yourself to others. Everyone stands at a different starting point, and the support and challenges we encounter are all different. Even if you are not the same or even worse than others now, we may still reach a higher stage than expected. Just go your own way and be yourself.
How to be yourself
After setting a goal, think carefully about whether this is attainable for you. Also, think about whether this goal is what you really want to be, then you may just be following someone else's wishes. In order not to lead yourself into error, we should all remember that you are unique and just need to be yourself and follow the path you prefer. Here are some tips to let you know how to be yourself:
1 - Do not always compare with others
Although comparison can bring us improvement, we should stop doing so if we find that we have pressure when comparing.
2 - Be honest with yourself
There is no need to exaggerate or belittle yourself, but rather to have a clear understanding of your abilities, make a list of what you are willing to learn, and then set appropriate goals so that you can create a plan that works for you.
Always remember that you are absolutely unique. Just like everyone else.
