Never rest on your laurels.

Most of us have goals or targets that we can finally achieve if we keep working hard. However, what should we do after we get the laurels? Should we take a break because we might get tired after walking a long way?

If we start thinking this way, we will easily regress.

Nothing wilts faster than a laurels at upon.

Why is it easy for us to regress? If we take a break, at most we stop moving, so why does it become a step backwards?

Time is running and we are all walking along it. If we stop moving forward, we will gradually fall behind others, which is another kind of regression. When we have a goal, we understand that "we still have things to do". Once we lose our goal, especially if we have accomplished it and not lost it for some other reason, we may not immediately set another goal. In this case, we will easily enter our comfort zone and become increasingly reluctant to step out of it.

Goal Setting

Never resting does not mean that we can never rest on the path to achieving our goals. What it does mean is that we can never be without any goals at any time. If we spend a long time and energy on something and you feel very tired, try to set some easy goals. The only thing we must not forget is not to give up any opportunity to improve ourselves.

Here are some tips of goal setting:

Take reference to criteria like SMART - Ensure our target is specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and time bound.

Learning from failures - We have faced many failures and experiences in our previous work, try to learn from them and have improvements in the next attempt.

Find like-minded people - Sometimes it's hard to seek certain types of goals, and if we find some like-minded people who work together to support each other, we'll have a much easier time achieving them.
