The 35th President of the United States, a member of the influential Kennedy family and considered a representative of American liberalism, he was the fourth U.S. President to be assassinated in U.S. history to date.

He served as an officer in the U.S. Army during World War II and was awarded the Purple Heart for his heroic rescue of a U.S. Navy crewman overboard in the South Pacific, then entered politics, serving in the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate from 1946 to 1960, and was elected President of the United States in 1960.

Dare to fail miserably

Where does failure come from? We only face failure when we try to do something. In this case, "daring to fail miserably" is also telling us to take action and try to do something. Each of us has a comfort zone, and we are stable when we stay in it without any challenges. If we try to do something that is difficult for us, we have a chance of failing miserably. However, a great challenge also means an important opportunity. In our success, we can achieve great things.

As a president, Kennedy faced many unspeakable bumps and bruises. Every step he took was not so easy. Even with the help of his family or other factors, he could not have achieved his later status if he had not seized the opportunity to challenge himself. Whenever he proposed a policy or action, he had to face different opinions from others, and the pressure and difficulties he faced were unimaginable. Because he had enough courage to face the chance of daring to fail miserably, he had the chance to achieve great success.

How to leave our comfort zone

As mentioned above, in order to achieve greatness, we may need to face miserable failures. In this case, the first thing we need to do is get out of our comfort zone. Here are some tips to help you cope with your comfort zone.

Learning new things

We may need to face new challenges that are outside our comfort zone. New knowledge and skills may be needed to solve these problems. In this case, we can try to plan what we are going to learn so that we can have more confidence to face the challenges we may encounter.

Set small target

Before we are seeking for a new and large target, we can try to divide it into several small steps. In this case, we can reduce the time needed and also the difficulties for each or the targets, so that we will have less pressure to get out the comfort zone and try new challenges.

Being health

Before we do anything, the first thing we need to do is to stay healthy. Only when we have good physical and mental health, we will have better self-esteem and confidence. Try to develop healthy habits now and challenge yourself with good preparation!

Look for companion

When we face something alone, we may have more stress and tension. In this case, it is better for us to have some companions to face the challenges with us. In addition, each of us has different talents, and the combination of knowledge and skills can help us better cope with the challenges we may encounter on the way to achieve our goals.

Get out of your comfort zone now!
