Authenticate through SAML, AD, LDAP, Google

Authenticate to VP Online without having to remember another password.

Visual Paradigm Online ("VP Online")'s authentication mechanism can be integrated with Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication services like SAML, Active Directory and LDAP. This enables team members to authenticate themselves to VP Online without having to remember another password. This also restricts access so that only dedicated people can log in to VP Online.

Single-sign-on via SAML 2.0 integration

Security Assertion Markup Language ("SAML") is an open standard for exchanging authentication and authorization data between online business providers. VP Online supports the SAML 2.0 standard. Your team can access VP Online features with identities managed under SAML identity providers like Okta, Microsoft® Azure, Google (IDP), etc.

Active Directory (AD) is a directory service developed by Microsoft® for Windows domain networks. Your team can access VP Online features with accounts managed in an Active Directory domain.

LDAP - Lightweight Directory Access Protocol

The Lightweight Directory Access Protocol ("LDAP") is an industry standard application protocol for accessing and maintaining distributed directory information services over an Internet Protocol (IP) network. LDAP can be used to authenticate users of VP Online by connecting VP Online to an LDAP directory server.
