What is Flow chart?

A flowchart is a graphical representation of steps and decisions involved in a process or workflow. It is important to note that step in a flowchart is represented by a different symbol showing different types of actions in a process.

Why Flowchart?

  • Flowchart consists of only simple and standard symbols such as, the simple rectangles, ovals, diamonds and other shapes which is easy to understand and only need to take very little time to learn
  • Flowchart symbols are universally recognized across multiple disciplines, and will allow us to communicate a great deal of information accurately, efficiently, and succinctly.
  • Flowchart shows every step of a process in clear and explicit detail. The top-down and left-to-right flow of steps on the chart have a natural order and are easy to follow.
