Roadmap Example: Simple Roadmap Template

The best way to understand Roadmap is to look at some examples of Roadmap and start drawing your own. You can now modify the Roadmap example below using Visual Paradigm's online Roadmap tool.

What is Roadmap?

A roadmap is a high-level overview of the important pieces of a project. It provides a quick snapshot of the work's aims, important milestones, key deliverables, dependencies, etc.

How to draw a Roadmap?

You can use Visual Paradigm's easy online Roadmap tool to create Roadmap. To do this:

  1. Create a blank Roadmap.
  2. The symbols available are placed on the left of the Roadmap editor, under the palette. Drag and drop the Roadmap shapes you need onto the diagram and connect them with connectors.
  3. Save your finished work (File > Save as) to our cloud repository for future access, or to export your diagram as image (JPG, PNG, PDF, SVG, etc) and share it with your co-workers.
