It is said that the winner is 80% EQ +20% IQ and the loser is 20% EQ +80% IQ. This may be an exaggeration, but we do see many examples of smart people failing.
What is emotional intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence (EQ) mainly refers to people in the mood, emotion, will, tolerance to setbacks and other aspects of the quality. Previously, it was believed that intelligence level was the first important factor in whether a person could achieve success in his life, that is, the higher the IQ, the greater the possibility of achievement. But now psychologists generally believe that EQ also plays a significant role in success, sometimes even more than IQ. So, what exactly is emotional intelligence?
According to Daniel Goleman, there are five main elements of emotional intelligence.
Self-Awareness
Self-Regulation
Motivation
Empathy
Social Skills
Everyone has not only an (EQ) emotional brain, but also a (IQ) rational brain. Every idea we have is the result of two things working together, a thought and a feeling. Emotional intelligence includes self-motivation, perseverance, impulse control, emotional conditioning, not letting worry interfere with rational thinking, understanding, and hope. It includes self-control, enthusiasm, persistence, and the ability to be self-driven and self-motivated.
