Bagels
Ingredients
- 1050 ml - Flour 
- 20 ml - Active dry yeast 
- 350 ml - warm water(110-115 degrees) 
- 45 ml + 15 ml - sugar 
- 15 ml - salt 
Method
- Mix the yeast and 350 ml of the flour in a bowl. 
- Mix the sugar and salt with warm water, and pour them over flour mixture. 
- Beat the mixture with electric mixer in low speed. 
- Stir in the remaining flour as much as you can with a spoon. 
- Turn it to the floured surface. 
- Knead in enough remaining flour to make the dough has a moderately stiff and smooth amp in around 6 to 8 minutes. 
- Cover it and wait for 20 minutes. 
- Broil 5 inches from heat for 3 to 4 minutes, then turn it once (the tops should not brown). 
- Heat 3.8 ltr water and the 15 ml sugar to boiling, then reduce the heat. 
- Cook 4 or 5 bagels at a time for 7 min., then turn them once. 
- Drain the bagels and place them on greased baking sheet.
