Gluten-Free Chocolate Cake Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose gluten-free flour

  • 1 1/4 teaspoons baking soda

  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

  • 2/3 cup butter

  • 1 3/4 cups sugar

  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 2 eggs

  • 3 squares unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled

  • 1 1/4 cups cold water

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350

  2. Grease two 9x1 1/2" round baking pans and lightly dust with flour

  3. Mix the first 3 ingredients.

  4. Stir the butter in the blender for about 30 seconds.

  5. Add sugar and vanilla and stir until combined

  6. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each

  7. Add the cooled chocolate

  8. Alternately add dry ingredients and cold water

  9. Into a prepared pan

  10. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until finished

  11. Cool for 10 minutes, then remove from the pan
